1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tbsp milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 egg, separated
3 Tbsp cocoa powder
1 cup unbleached flour
1/4 tsp salt
Hershey’s Mint Chocolate Kisses, unwrapped
Heat oven to 350*F, lightly spray cookie sheet with non-stick spray.
Combine butter, sugar, milk, vanilla and egg yolk. Beat at medium speed until well blended.
In another bowl, stir together your dry ingredients.
Add dry mixture to the wet mixture, gradually, until well blended.
Form dough into 1″ balls. Roll in lightly beaten egg white. Place on cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Gently press thumb into center of each cookie to make a slight indentation.
Bake at 350*F for about 8 minutes. Let cool for a couple of minutes then top with an unwrapped Hershey’s Mint Chocolate Kiss. Let sit another minute or two then remove to wire cooling racks to cool completely.
